Macomb, MI, May 16, 2013 – Admore, a division of Ennis, Inc. (NYSE: EBF), has taken the spotlight at several print and design award shows this year for their 10th annual Halloween promotion “The Grim Reaper Brings Death to Boring Folders”. The awards won include: a PSDA PEAK Grand Award, a Gallery of Superb Printing Gold Award and the Foil and Specialty Effect Association Gold Leaf Award.
“The Reaper” has been recognized as an exquisitely well designed and produced piece. The main features that make it stand out above the competition are the foil and emboss work, which includes full detail sculptured emboss with five foil colors – all in perfect registration. The interior features custom die cut pockets in the shape of headstones. The name of each past Halloween promotion has been memorialized on the tombstones.
Lisa Goebel, Admore’s Marketing Manager and art director, is proud of the success it has earned. “It is an honor, as always, to be acknowledged throughout the industry for our custom presentation folder capabilities. Our company strives for creativity and excellence, and these awards exemplify that goal and also reinforce the quality and craftsmanship Admore is known for.”
The awards all come from organizations that are recognized throughout the print industry for judging based on strict criteria in the areas of print quality, technical difficulty and overall visual effect. Admore hopes to be recognized for “The Reaper” by other organizations at upcoming award ceremonies and looks forward to continued success.
