ENNIS, INC. DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND AND SETS RECORD DATE FOR ANNUAL SHAREHOLDER MEETING

Midlothian, TX. - March 10, 2006, Keith S. Walters, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ennis, Inc. (formerly Ennis Business Forms, Inc.) (NYSE: EBF), a manufacturer of business forms, apparel and other business products headquartered in Midlothian, Texas, announced today that the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 15 1/2 cents a share on its common stock and has set the record date for the Annual Shareholder Meeting. The dividend is payable May 1, 2006 to shareholders of record on April 14, 2006. May 1, 2006 also has been set as the record date for shareholders entitled to notice of and to vote at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on June 29, 2006.
