ENNIS BUSINESS FORMS, INC. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF ALEJANDRO QUIROZ AS DIRECTOR

Keith S. Walters, Chairman, President and CEO of Ennis Business Forms, Inc. (NYSE: EBF), announced today that Mr. Kenneth E. Overstreet has resigned from the Board of Directors and that Mr. Alejandro Quiroz has been appointed to the Board of Directors to replace Mr. Overstreet, to complete the term which will expire in June 2005. Mr. Overstreet has also retired as President of the Financial Solutions Group of the Company. Mr. Overstreet's resignation from the Board of Directors was prompted in part due to his inability to serve as an "independent director" in the future as a result of his prior service as an executive officer of the Company.
Mr. Quiroz is currently Chairman of the Board of PRINTER Group, and has extensive experience in the printing industry in both the United States and Mexico. Mr. Quiroz, in addition to serving as Chairman of the PRINTER Group, serves on the Board of Directors of a number of organizations, both non-profit and commercial. A resident of San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Quiroz, who was born in Mexico City, Mexico, is married and has three children. He has a bachelor's degree from Iberoamericana University and an Executive MBA from the Pan American Institute of Executive Management (IPADE). Both institutions are in Mexico City.
