BRIAN THORP APPOINTED GENERAL MANAGER OF ENNIS, TEXAS FACILITY

Ennis, Texas February 14, 2006 - Charles Ray has announced his retirement from his position as General Manager of Ennis, Inc.'s Ennis, Texas facilities. With this transition, Brian Thorp has relocated to Ennis, Texas to assume the position of General Manager, with responsibilities to the Star Award Ribbon, Custom and Imprint facilities. He will also continue to oversee the Royal Business Forms operation in Arlington, Texas. Mr. Ray's retirement will be effective in March or April 2006 as he wants to allow time for a smooth transition.
For the past 41 years, Charles Ray has faithfully served the Company in multiple high level management positions. Keith Walters, Ennis' Chairman, President & CEO, said, "We appreciate Charles' hard work and dedication over the last 41 years and wish him all the best in his retirement. He will be missed."
With regard to the change in management, Ennis Executive Vice President, Mike Magill stated, "Brian Thorp is a hardworking, experienced manager and I am confident that his experience will prove invaluable throughout this transition and in the future." Mr. Thorp is currently in the process of relocation and is looking forward to assuming his new role.
